CAMILA KRISTIANSEN
ISP JUNIOR
The Barrier Between Women and Their Future
My name is Camila Kristiansen and I am currently a junior at the International School of Panama. From a young age, I have been exposed to multiple debates and conferences regarding women’s rights. When I
created the Best Buddies program, I had the chance of meeting amazing young girls lacking an education. The experiences I gathered with these girls left me with a need to help. I am dedicated to continue telling their stories when they feel like they don’t have a voice.

Breaking the Cycle: Taboos and Stigmas Surrounding Menstruation
Clara Crystal is an Asian-American sophomore at the International School of Panama with her heart and mind dedicated to human rights, literature, and philosophy. Growing up as a quiet unspoken girl, today, she uses her voice and platform to speak about many global issues that have been neglected through time. She hopes that with her mindful thinking, we can all start to take measures towards eradicating menstruation's taboos and stigma in our own communities and households.
MAYA MANSOUR

Minority Mentality
Maya Mansour is an Israeli sophomore at ISP who is passionate about everything involving human rights and humanitarian work as well as music, literature, and painting. Since she grew up in a small minority community she often felt underrepresented, especially as a woman, and that’s exactly what inspired her to be a speaker this year. She wishes to shed light on the way gender inequality affects minority communities, especially in the middle east so that people who are from minorities feel included in the conversation and others may also learn.
